heavy duty spec
Larger buildings come from our heavy duty range, with a thicker 2½″ × 1½″ redwood frame and a choice of 12mm kiln-dried tongue and groove or 16mm kiln-dried Burleigh shiplap. Roofs are ½″ exterior-grade Sterling board OSB finished with green mineral felt, floors are ½″ tongue and groove boards, and doors are framed, ledged and braced, with security locks available.
If the building will be used for work, training or teaching, plan for comfort early. We can insulate with Jablite, line the inside with 9mm birch-faced ply and fit double-glazed windows and doors. Power needs a qualified electrician once the building is up. Alistair and Andrea, who had a large build from us, said it really was bespoke from start to finish, turning their design into reality.

Cheltenham is well within our 50-mile delivery area. Our team delivers your building and puts it up on your prepared base, so you don’t need to arrange anything else on the day.
We cover the whole town and the villages around it, including Leckhampton, Charlton Kings, Prestbury, Pittville, Montpellier, Up Hatherley, Warden Hill, Benhall, Swindon Village, Bishop’s Cleeve, Woodmancote, Southam and Shurdington.

We can make your building any size you need. Everything is made to measure, so we can also build to fit awkward or unused spaces in the garden.

We don’t do groundwork, but we can give you the names of local companies who can lay the base. We can also supply timber bearers to go under the building so air can circulate. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the base is suitably built, level and in the right position.
We aren’t qualified electricians, so we can’t install electrics. A suitably qualified electrician will need to do this once your building is up.
