Our wendy houses and playhouses are made for children of all ages and built to last, so they’ll give your child years of enjoyment. Each one is made in our Hempsted workshop and installed by our own team across Gloucestershire.

We can make wendy houses with Georgian-style windows and verandas, from a classic 6×4 playhouse to a double-decker. Tell us the space you have and the age of your children, and we’ll build it to suit. A playhouse also makes a memorable Christmas or birthday present.

Master Sheds Ltd have been making custom wooden buildings in Gloucestershire since 1984. Our wendy houses and playhouses are built from quality redwood in our own workshop.

Think about how old your children are and how long you’d like the playhouse to last. Our playhouses start at 6×4, and a double-decker wendy house gives older children more room.
A 2ft veranda gives a covered porch to play on, and Georgian-style windows give the playhouse a classic cottage look.
Every playhouse is treated with our own water-based treatment, which isn’t harmful to children, plants or animals.
Choose a spot you can see from the house, on a firm, level base. We don’t lay bases, but we can recommend local companies who do.

Our wendy houses and playhouses are made from scratch in our Hempsted workshop, using red wood from sustainable forests, the same materials as our garden sheds.

We deliver and install wendy houses and playhouses throughout Gloucester and Cheltenham, and anywhere within a 50-mile radius of our Hempsted workshop (GL2 5JA). Customers in Churchdown, Tuffley, Fairford, Cam and Chipping Campden have all had buildings from us.
Delivery and installation is free within 3 miles of the workshop, then £1 per mile one way up to 50 miles. Further afield? You can still order and collect in person or by courier.

Most are 6×4 or 6×6, but everything is made to measure, and we’ve built a 12×6′6″ double-decker wendy house.
Yes. We’ve built playhouses with a 2ft veranda.
Like all our buildings, our playhouses are made from redwood and built in our own workshop.
We don’t do groundwork, but we can give you the names of local companies who can lay the base. We can also supply timber bearers to go under the building so air can circulate. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the base is suitably built, level and in the right position.
We deliver and install within a 50-mile radius of our Gloucester workshop. Delivery and installation is free within 3 miles of Hempsted, then £1 per mile one way up to 50 miles.

Every building is quoted to your own size and specification, so we don’t list prices. Call us on 01452 314011 or send us your measurements and we’ll get back to you with a price.
Because everything is custom-made there is a waiting list, so please allow for this when you plan your order. We’ll tell you the current wait when we quote.
We don’t have a showroom, but there’s a standard 7′ x 5′ apex shed on display in our car park that you can look at during working hours. You’re also welcome to see the buildings we’re making in the workshop, look at the materials and ask questions.
Yes. Every building is treated with our own water-based treatment, which isn’t harmful to plants, animals or children. We recommend re-treating it within 6 months of it going up, then once a year.
We aim to deliver and put up buildings between 9am and 12 noon, Monday to Saturday, but we can be flexible to suit you.
